      Celebrations: Holiday Automations

      Stay Connected with Your Contacts During the Holidays

      Our Holiday Automated Marketing emails allow you to send meaningful messages to your contacts on a wide range of holidays. You can now select which holidays you want to send greetings for, ensuring your messages are relevant and appreciated.

      You can choose from the following individual holiday automations:

      • Lunar New Year*
      • Martin Luther King Day
      • Presidents' Day*
      • Valentine’s Day*
      • International Women’s Day* 
      • St. Patrick’s Day* 
      • Daylight Saving Time Begins*
      • April is Financial Literacy Month* 
      • Passover*
      • Easter*
      • Earth Day*
      • Mothers' Day
      • Memorial Day
      • Juneteenth
      • Father's Day
      • Independence Day
      • August is Make a Will Month* 
      • Labor Day

      * Items marked with an asterisk are exclusively available to users who have a Marketing Suite Premium subscription or above, like Do It For Me Marketing. 

      Activating the Automation

      To activate an automation, follow these steps:

      1. Access Automated Marketing: Navigate to Automated Marketing in the navigation pane on the left side of your dashboard:
      2. Browse Automations: Using the "Category" filter, select "Celebrations" to browse the different Holiday automations. Alternatively, use the search bar to find a specific Holiday automation by title.

        Click here to review a full list of all available Holiday automations. 
      3. Select Holiday Automations: Toggle the automation on, choose your audience, and click the "Save" button.

      Important Customization Note: The content of Holiday automations cannot be customized. Instead, if you wish to create a personalized holiday email, explore the holiday email options in the Content Library. These can be sent as custom emails.

      Configuring the Audience

      By default, all of your contacts are selected as the audience. However, you have complete control over the audience and can select specific contact groups that may better align with particular holiday messages. 

      💡For example, you may want to select a group of contacts who are mothers to only send the Mothers’ Day campaign to.

      Automation Notifications and Previews

      You will receive an email the day before this automation goes out to your contacts. That email will contain a preview of the message that your contacts will see. Click here for more information on setting up these notifications.
