How to access and share social posts from the Content Library

FMG's Content Library is full of pre-made content ready for use. Our agency-created social posts are pre-written messages intended for social media platforms, making interacting with users on social media effortlessly.

💡 Before you begin, you must have your social media profiles integrated with your FMG account. You can learn how to complete your social media integrations in this guide: Social Media Integrations

How to Share Social Posts

To access and share agency-created social posts:

  1. Accessing Social Posts

    To access Social Posts, log in to your FMG admin account and navigate to Content Library > Social Posts.

  2. Sorting and Filtering Social Posts

    1. Sort: You can sort the content by favorites, title, type, or author to quickly find content.

    2. Filters: Use the Filters dropdown menu to filter for specific topics or content types.

  3. Exploring and Selecting a Social Post to Share

    To learn more about a specific social post, click the content title or "Details." Here you will see a short description, preview image, and keywords associated with the piece.

    When you're ready to share a social post, click "Use Post."

Choose Social Media Networks and Edit the Post

  1. You can now edit the post and decide which social media profiles to share this content on.

    1. Choose Social Media: By default, all of your integrated social networks will be selected. In the "Post to:" section, click the 'X' next to a profile you do not wish to post on.PostonSM
  2. Edit Social Post: If you would like to customize your social post, you may edit:

    1. Text: Click in the box to change the posts text
      1. Link to an External WebsiteEnter the external link into the body of the social post text
    2. Upload Image: Click the "Upload Image" button to replace any preloaded images with your own image. 
  3. Schedule Social Post
    1. Schedule Post: When you're ready to share the social post, click "Share."
  4. Choose Your Post Date:
     
    1. Your Post Will Be Shared Right Away: Your social post will be sent as soon as it's approved by compliance.
    2. Schedule A Future Date: Your post will be shared on the day and time you choose.
  5. Confirm Details: Double-check your details to make sure everything looks okay. Click "Post" to get that message out there!

View Your Shared & Scheduled Social Posts

To view your shared and scheduled social posts, navigate to Social > Shared & Scheduled. Here you can view previously shared social posts as well as scheduled social posts. For scheduled social posts, you have the option to edit or cancel the social post.
