Upgrading Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

How to upgrade your Universal Analytics property to a Google Analytics 4 property.

If you're using Universal Analytics (UA) for your website and want to switch to Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google has streamlined the process. They now automatically create a GA4 property for all analytics users.

If you are not seeing data tracked, please refer to the setup assistant instructions within your Google Analytics account to ensure the account is connected. Alternatively, you can obtain your automatically generated GA4 data stream measurement ID from your Google Analytics account and then update it in your FMG admin by navigating to Website > SEO.
