How do I integrate with OneHQ?
Connect your OneHQ CRM to import advisors and sync message notes
Integrating with OneHQ lets you import your advisors into MyRepChat, and lets MyRepChat log SMS/text messages as Discussions on that advisor's OneHQ profile.
See How Do I Import Contacts From My CRM? for general CRM integration features and behavior that apply across providers.
How Do I Set Up the Integration?
- From the Dashboard, go to Settings > Integrations > Connect to CRM.
- Scroll down and click the OneHQ box — a secondary section with setup instructions will appear.
- Enter your Username (the same one you use to log into OneHQ).
- Enter your Access Key, found under your OneHQ account settings after logging in.
- Enter your Report ID — a custom report you'll need to build first. See "How Do I Build the OneHQ MyRepChat Report?" below.
- Move the Enable toggle to green.
- Under Send messages to CRM, select the appropriate checkbox.
- Click Save.
For questions about your Username or Access Key, contact OneHQ support directly.
How Do I Build the OneHQ MyRepChat Report?
To search advisors in OneHQ, MyRepChat needs a custom Advisor report.
- In OneHQ, go to Reports and click Create a New Report.
- Give it any name, select the Advisor resource, and set the limit to 100–250. Click Continue.
- Select the following columns to include:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Name
- Phones – Number
- Phones – Location (e.g., "mobile" or "home")
- Emails – Address – Primary
- Addresses – Line One – Primary
- Addresses – City – Primary
- Addresses – Zip Code – Primary
- Addresses – State Abbreviation – Primary
- Layout doesn't matter for the API — arrange it however you'd like if you also plan to run the report directly in OneHQ.
- Add two filters — these let MyRepChat search by name or phone number.
- The filter names must be entered exactly as NameFilter and PhoneFilter — the integration depends on these exact names to work correctly.
- NameFilter on the Name field — Operation: Not Equals, Value: leave blank.
- PhoneFilter on the Phones – Number field — Operation: Not Equals, Value: leave blank.
- The filter names must be entered exactly as NameFilter and PhoneFilter — the integration depends on these exact names to work correctly.
- Save the report.
- Note the ID shown in your browser's URL bar — this is the Report ID you'll enter into MyRepChat.
What Is OneHQ's Search Behavior?
Each CRM has different search behavior and limitations. For OneHQ specifically:
- Phone searches check all phone fields and ignore punctuation.
- Phone searches use a "contains" match, so searching just the last 4 digits will still find a match.
- Name searches use a "contains" match against a combined first + last name field. For example, searching "Tom Jo" would find a contact named "Tom Jones," but "To Jo" would not.
- Group search isn't currently supported. Let us know if this is something you'd like added.
