Understand why unread counts differ between shared account logins
MyRepChat's read status is login-specific. When any user on a shared account reads a message, its orange dot clears for everyone. But if a different user on that same account hasn't personally viewed those messages yet, they'll still count as "new" to that specific user — even though the orange dot is already gone.
Your Dashboard shows the count of messages that are new to you specifically, and that count stays until you've viewed each one yourself.
