If a client types, "STOP" and opts out of messages, how do they opt back in? (Web UI)
Understand how clients opt out and back in to texting
If a client texts "STOP" to opt out, you won't be able to send them any further messages, and your message window with that client will appear grayed out.
How Does a Client Opt Back In?
To resume texting, the client must reply with the single word "START" — this immediately reopens messaging between you and that client. Both "STOP" and "START" take effect immediately once sent.
If your firm requires Positive Consent (the client's initial permission to be texted), that consent only needs to be granted once. The client grants it by replying with the single word "ACCEPT" — any extra words, punctuation, or typos alongside "ACCEPT" will prevent consent from being recognized.
