How To Use Group Texting
Send a message to multiple contacts who share mutual interests
This feature is currently in beta and not yet available for Twilio users.
Group texting is a powerful way to communicate with multiple contacts who share mutual financial interests — like families or business partners — making it easy to share important information quickly.
How Do I Start a Group Message?
- From your Dashboard, click Messages, then + Message.
- Select Group Message from the dropdown menu.
- Search for and select your contacts.
- Note: You must select between 2 to 9 contacts to start a Group Message.
- For any contact who hasn't opted in yet, select Request Opt-In next to their name. Contacts who have opted out of messages cannot be added to the Group Message.
- Depending on your compliance department or home office requirements, you may need to obtain consent from recipients before sending a Group Text.
-
- Positive Consent: Send your firm's consent message to all recipients and wait for them to reply "Accept" before proceeding.
- Negative Consent: Send the consent message and proceed with the group text without waiting for a response.
