How do I send positive consent to a Distribution List? (Group)
Send a positive consent request to multiple contacts at once
When texting clients through MyRepChat, your firm may require clients to grant consent first — this is called Positive Consent. If your firm has this enabled, the first time you try to text a client, you'll see a pop-up prompting you to send your firm's consent message to that client, and to every new client you want to text.
How Does a Client Respond?
- To accept: The client replies "Accept."
- To opt out: The client replies "Stop."
- To opt back in: If they opted out by mistake, they can reply "Start."
How Do I Send Positive Consent to a Distribution List?
- Go to Messages > Compose Message.
- Search for and select your distribution list.
- Click the thumbs-up icon.
Once sent, you'll see a confirmation that your positive consent message has gone out to the list.
