How can I set up Chrome browser notifications for MyRepChat incoming messages? (Desktop / Windows 10)

There are two ways to get notified of incoming MyRepChat messages on desktop:

1. Email notifications: Set up an auto-response that emails you every time a text comes in. See How Do I Setup Email Notifications For Incoming Messages? (Desktop) for setup steps.
2. Chrome browser notifications: Get a pop-up in the bottom right corner of your screen whenever a message arrives. Follow the steps below.

How Do I Turn On Chrome Browser Notifications?

1. Open Chrome and click the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
2. Click Settings.
3. Go to Privacy and Security > Site Settings.
4. Under View permissions and data stored across sites, look for ionlake.com. If needed, search for "dart" to find dart.ionlake.com.
5. Set the following permissions to Allow:
   • Notifications
   • JavaScript
   • Images
   • Pop-ups and redirects
   • Background sync
   • Sound

How Do I Test That Notifications Are Working?

1. Refresh your browser (F5 on Windows, Fn + F5 on Mac) or open a new Chrome window.
2. Log into MyRepChat and go to Support > Notifications.
3. Confirm Web Browser Notifications shows Permission Granted, then click Browser Test to trigger a test notification.
4. Confirm Connection Status shows Connected, then click Push Notification Test.

What If I'm Still Not Receiving Notifications?

If notifications aren't showing up as expected, check your Windows 10 notification settings for Chrome:

1. Double-click the notifications icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and select Manage Notifications at the top.
2. Turn Notifications on.
3. Under Get notifications from these senders, turn Google Chrome on.
