MyRepChat New User Checklist
Work through this checklist to get fully set up and comfortable using MyRepChat
This checklist is a great way to learn how to navigate the MyRepChat web and mobile apps.
The best way to begin is by watching a demo on our main website: https://www.ionlake.com/demo/
1. Sign Up
-
If you're part of a large group, contact your group administrator for your firm's sign-up link and code.
-
Otherwise, go to myrepchat.com, click Login in the upper right corner, then click I don't have an account.
-
Follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
2. Log In
-
Once your account is created, log in to continue the sign-up process.
- You'll be asked for your contact details and some additional information.
3. Choose Your MyRepChat Number
-
Choose a new dedicated number, or enter your landline number to have it text-enabled.
-
Note: Text-enabling a landline involves a few more steps and takes a little more time.
-
You'll also be prompted to enter the number you want your MyRepChat calls forwarded to (your mobile or landline number).
4. Set Up Billing
-
Enter your billing information to get your service activated.
- Go to Settings > Account > Subscription Management to add your payment method. See How do I manage my subscription and update my billing information?
5. Send a message
-
Once signup is complete and your number is set, you can start sending text messages to your contacts from either the web app or the mobile app.
- We recommend texting yourself or a colleague first to see how it looks on the receiving end. See How do I send a text message? (Desktop)
6. Choose Add-Ons
-
Customize your MyRepChat account with various add-on features. You can turn them on in Settings > Account > Subscription Management.
7. Create Your vCard
