Using Pre-Written Emails With Replaceable Tokens

Your broker-dealer may provide access to pre-written, pre-approved emails that contain replaceable tokens. These emails include tokens that are meant to be replaced with the information you provide. Edits to tokens will bypass compliance since the contact has already been approved. Additional edits to non-token content may require compliance approval. 

1. Navigate to the Content Library and locate the desired pre-written email that contains replaceable tokens. Click on the title to preview the content.
   
2. Select “Use” next to the email to enter the email builder. You will see a disclaimer at the top indicating that the email needs customization before scheduling.
   
3. Click the “Schedule Email As Is” button to enter the Email Tokens modal:
   
4. Fill in the required email fields. You can also preview the email to see your edits in real time and send yourself a test email from the modal. 
5. Once satisfied with the customization, you can then schedule the email as you normally would by choosing your audience and preferred send date.
