      How to Share Videos to Your Social Media

      You can now share videos directly to your social media accounts from your FMG admin! In this article, we will show how you can share videos on social media using FMG. 

      Please note that this feature may or may not be available to you depending on your Broker/Dealer. 

      ❓ Social Video Limitations and Restrictions:

      • Video Format Support: We support MP4 and MOV files. ⚠️Please note:
        • Instagram may reject MOV files
        • Facebook and LinkedIn support both MP4 and MOV file formats
      • Single Video Limit: You can only upload one video per post. If a video is included, images cannot be added.
      • Video Dimensions: Videos shared on Instagram should not exceed 1920 pixels in width.
      • Max Video File Upload Size: 200 MB
      • Social Media Integrations: Before you begin, ensure you have integrated the social media profiles you'd like to share a video on.

      Create a Social Video Post

      To create a social video post:

      1. Navigate to Social > Post on Social Media:

      2. Create your social post by selecting and adding the following:

        • Post to: By default, all integrated social media profiles will be selected. Click the "X" next to a social profile that you do not want to share content on.

        • Write your post: Enter the content of your post.

        • Upload Video: Click the "Upload" button and choose "Upload a video"

        • Now, choose your video file to upload. Ensure it's in MP4 or MOV* format.

          • Thumbnail Selection: Choose a frame from the video or upload a custom image as a thumbnail.
          • Video Title: Set a title for your video.

      3. Schedule Social Post:

        • Schedule Post: When you're ready to share the social post, click "Share."

        • Choose Your Post Date:

          • Your Post Will Be Shared Right Away: Your social post will be sent as soon as it's approved by compliance.
          • Schedule A Future Date: Your post will be shared on the day and time you choose.
      4. Confirm Details: Double-check your details to make sure everything looks good. Then, click "Post" to share your content!
