Muse is here to help you effortlessly craft personalized and engaging email content. This AI-driven tool eliminates writer's block by writing in your unique voice and adapting to various contexts, boosting your productivity. Follow this guide to get started with Muse and create compelling email content with ease!

This guide will walk you through how to use Muse to create compelling email content effortlessly. Follow along to get started!

How to Use Muse for Email

  1. Access the Email Builder: In your FMG account, navigate to the Email > Send Email section:

  2. Activate Muse: Click the "Write with AI" button within the email builder to launch Muse:

  3. Enter Email Details:
    1. Select the Purpose: Choose the purpose of your email from the available options, such as:
      • Relationship builder
      • Educational content
      • Follow-up
      • Feedback request
      • Scheduling
      • Other

    2. Enter Specific Details: Provide the necessary details about the email you wish to create. Some examples of prompts include:
      • "Write an email for my client, John, about the importance of 401(k)."
      • "I recently met with a prospective client, Annie, and would like to request feedback on our meeting."
      • "My client, Jacob, is retiring soon. Create an email congratulating him and explaining how I can assist during this transition."

    3. Writing Style: Select the writing style.
    4. Specify the Length: Determine the length of your email by selecting short, medium, or long.
    5. Generate Content: Once you have filled out the form, click "Generate," and Muse will create a complete email draft, including a subject line.

  4. Manually Copy Content: Copy and paste the generated subject line and body into the email builder. 
  5. Review and Edit: You can make additional edits or revisions to ensure the content meets your specific needs and preferences.
  6. Schedule Your Email: When you’re done making edits, you can schedule your email like usual. 
  7. Compliance Review: Like all custom email content, emails created using Muse will be submitted to compliance for review before sending.

⚠️ Self-managed compliance users (RIA) must approve the content manually. 


Tips and Best Practices

  • Be Specific: The more specific you are in the additional context box, the better the AI can tailor the content to your needs.
  • Experiment with Tones: Try different tone combinations to see which best fits your brand's voice.
  • Leave Feedback: To help us enhance Muse, click the thumbs up or thumbs down icon to provide feedback on the different versions.
