How to Use FMG’s Billing Portal

Learn how to access FMG’s billing portal to view past invoices, update billing details, and more.

Note: Only admin users will be able to access the billing portal.

Introduction to the Billing Portal

The billing portal is a user-friendly platform designed for users to manage their billing information independently. By using this portal, you can perform various billing tasks without needing to contact support, streamlining your billing experience.

Features of the Billing Portal

  • View Current Subscriptions: Check the status of your active subscriptions.
  • Modify Billing Address: Keep your billing address up-to-date.
  • Update Payment Method: Change your payment details, such as credit card information, with ease.
  • Make a One-Time Payment: Easily pay your invoice by making a one-time payment.
  • Access and Download Past Invoices: Easily view and download invoices for your records.

How to Access the Billing Portal

To access the billing portal, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to FMG Admin: In your FMG admin, click on your profile name in the top right-hand corner of your screen and select Settings
  2. Initiate Billing Portal Connection: Under the Manage Billing section, click the "Billing Portal" button to initiate the connection between your FMG account and the external billing portal. Our system will run a check of your account and your corresponding Chargebee account to ensure we can establish access to the billing portal.
  3. Explore the Billing Portal: Once the connection is established, the billing portal will open in a new tab. Here, you can manage various billing tasks:

    • View Current Subscriptions: At the top of the page, you will find the name of your subscription along with the billed amount. 
    • Billing & Shipping Addresses: Use this option to modify your billing address.
    • Payment Methods: Update your billing method by changing your payment details, such as credit card information.
    • Billing History: Access and download past invoices for your records.
      • The⚠️icon indicates an unpaid invoice.
      • Click 'Billing History' to make a one-time payment. 

Billing Portal Troubleshooting and FAQs

  1. Question: I received an error message that says "We Couldn't Find Your Email In Our Billing Records" (or "Your Email is Associated With Multiple Accounts"). What should I do?
    • These errors indicate an issue identifying the connection between your billing account and email. Please contact our support team for assistance.
  2. Question: Can I change my FMG subscription through the billing portal?
    • Please contact our support team to make subscription changes to your account! 
  3. Question: Why did I receive an "Enterprise Billing: Portal Access Restricted" when trying to access the billing portal?
    • You received this message because you have an enterprise billing arrangement and cannot access the billing portal.
  4. Question: I keep getting a message saying, "We're Having Trouble Connecting To Our Billing Service Right Now." What do I do?
