FMG Website Suite Data & Privacy Factsheet

The following document describes how the FMG Advisor Website Hosting Platform collects, stores, and protects visitor data and form‑submission data. It is provided solely for informational purposes to help you prepare your own privacy policy. You are fully responsible for drafting, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and legal compliance of your privacy policy and should consult your own independent legal counsel in support of such efforts, in order to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. 3. Where the data lives

  • Primary hosting: Amazon AWS U.S. regions (plus Cloudflare edge caching).
  • Backups: U.S. regions only.
  • Traffic encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and data encrypted at rest (AES-256) if this is configured by the advisor
  • Annual SOC 2 Type 2 audit and continuous penetration testing.

4. Retention & deletion

Data is retained as long as necessary to ensure compliance with all applicable finance laws and regulations. FMG does not retain or delete data according to individual customer policies. No information on the FMG platform is used by FMG for advertising or marketing to an advisor's contacts. Information is retained in order to run the platform and follow laws and regulations.

Contact information obtained from form completions can be deleted by the advisor using standard platform capabilities.

5. Consumer-rights requests

Advisors can export or delete an individual’s data from the dashboard anytime. If they require assistance, they can contact FMG support.

6. Children’s data

The platform is not designed to collect information from children under 13. Advisors are responsible for following all laws and regulations related to children’s privacy.

7. Geographic availability

FMG’s advisor platform is not available in most countries. A maintained list of supported countries is available here:

This may have an impact on the privacy policy an advisor may need to construct. The more countries a website is available in, the more laws an advisor would need to consider to maintain compliance.

8. Sensitive data (PII/PHI) — advisor responsibility

The platform is not intended to collect sensitive personally identifiable information (PII) such as Social Security numbers or protected health information (PHI). Customers are solely responsible for ensuring that their websites and forms do not request or capture such data.
