Have you found a video you would like to add to your website? You have the option to add video embed codes in two types of sections:

  • HTML Code Section: Use this section if you want the video to take up the width of your website content area.

  • Rich Text Editor Section: Use this section if you want the video to be in line with other content on your page or to resize it to be smaller.

To begin, you'll need to get the video embed code from a third-party video hosting platform (such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, or SproutVideo).

Adding the Video Embed Code to an HTML Code Section

  1. With the video embed code copied, you'll need to navigate to the page you'd like to add your video to in your FMG admin and click "+ Add Section":

  2. In the "Add a new section" modal that opens, click "Widgets," then select "Html Code" to add this section to your page:

  3. Click on the HTML section and paste your embed code.

  4. Click "Save Draft" to save your changes. Once ready, click "Publish" to submit your page to compliance!

Adding the Video Embed Code to a Rich Text Editor Section

  3. Once you've added a Rich Text Editor section to the page, there are two different ways to embed a video:

    1. Insert Video URL: This option allows you to easily embed a video without the need for special HTML embed codes. We currently support Youtube, Vimeo, and Vidyard video URLs.
