What is a group administrator? (for Admins)

MyRepChat has a four-tier account hierarchy:

1. MyRepChat Account — Standard users. This tier has the most day-to-day features but the least administrative power over settings and access.
2. Group Administrator — Often a compliance officer or manager at a broker-dealer or small firm. Group Administrators set standards for every account underneath them.
3. Reseller / Organization Administrator — These two roles are nearly identical. Users at this tier can create, oversee, and set standards across multiple groups, and create accounts within each one.
4. System Administrator — The highest tier, with the most visibility and control. System Admins can create and view MyRepChat accounts, Group Administrator accounts, other administrator logins, and Reseller/Organization Administrator accounts. They can also manage billing, request temporary account access, and more.

A Group Administrator account — along with its administrator login — is set up by a System Administrator.

What Can a Group Administrator Do?

Within their account, a Group Administrator can:

• Set up archiving and reporting at the group level.
• Hide archiving settings from regular MyRepChat users.
• Set an administrator to be notified when new users sign up.
• Require vCard approval.
• Set group messaging restrictions.
• Customize theme colors and logo.
• Set up a positive consent message.
• Set a disclosure link.
• Retrieve the account self-signup link and set new account status.
• Choose centralized or non-centralized billing.
• Enable or disable calculators in the mobile app.
• Set up SAML.
• Set up monitoring.
• Manage accounts and user logins.
• Approve vCards.
• Set archive settings on individual accounts.

Overall, a Group Administrator sets the standards for their entire group — every account underneath it is subject to the settings they configure.
