Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a powerful, easy-to-use application that allows you to add, manage, and edit tags on your website. Without GTM, you'd need to add custom code to various parts of your website. GTM takes care of this for you!
A Facebook Pixel is just one of many kinds of tags you may want to add to your website.

Once added to your website, this code tracks traffic from FB ads, giving you important information to help you optimize ads, build targeted audiences for future ads, and target people who have already taken some kind of action on your website.
